为何公司命令他离职呢？
* demand 是理所当然的需要，意义强烈，因而用在日常须加以注意。
2) He would direct the workman to use his plans.
他为了实行我们的计划，给职员下了指示。
* direct 是给予指示、下达训示的意思。
3) I must insist you finish what you have started!
我是说一旦开始的事就需要坚持到底！
4) He commanded the soldiers to fire.
他命令士兵开火。
* command 是指很严格的命令，意味着绝对服从。
5) They enjoin1 us to follow their example.
他们强要大家以他们为榜样。（有的象绕口令。）
* enjoin 有给予强有力的训示的感觉。意味着学校的老师以至法律上的命令。
