The Poultries
Lets think of eggs.
They have no legs.
Chickens come from eggs
But have legs.
The plot thickens;
Eggs come from chickens,
But have no legs underem
What a conundrum1!

The Duck
Behold2 the duck.
It does not cluck.
A cluck it lacks.
It quacks3.
It is specially4 fond
Of a puddle5 or pond.
When it dines or sups,
It bottoms ups.

它嘎嘎叫唤。
它特别喜欢，
水坑或池塘。

它屁股翘起。
The Cuckoo
Cuckoos lead Bohemian lives,
They fail as husbands and as wives,
Therefore they cynically6 disparage7
Everybody elses marriage.
杜鹃
杜鹃过着放浪不羁的生活，
它们不可以作为老公或老婆，
因而对其他人冷嘲热讽，
诋毁他们的婚姻生活。
The Ostrich8
The ostrich roams the great Sahara.
Its mouth is wide, its neck is narra.
It has such long and lofty legs,
Im glad it sits to lay its eggs.

嘴巴宽宽而脖子细细。
它有那样高而长的腿，
我真开心它是坐下来生蛋。
