老师说的go backto和returnto都是回到...的意思，却并没说过这两者有什么区别。是否等于这两个单词完全可以互相替换？

return from+名词=come/go back+名词

=I came back from work to find the house empty
我下班回来，发现屋里空无一人。

return sth to +名词/代词=bring/give/send sth back to+名词 意思“把某物退还给某人/把某物归还给某人”
We had to return the hairdryer to the store because it was faulty.
大家不能不将吹风机退回商店，由于它有残损。
I must return some books to the library.
=I must send some books back tothe library
我得把一些书还给图书馆。
