有错误。
改though 为after或不需要皆可。
由于though 是一个连词，后面需要跟上一个从句, after虽然也可作连词用，但主要用作介词。譬如说:
I can not do it like he does. 就是不对的。
由于 like是介词，后面不可以跟从句，需要改成连词 as 才行。假如要用介词like，就要把后面的 he does 改成 him，也就是说:.
I cannot do it like him. I can not do it as he does.
同理，原例句应改为:
Though he has been ill for years, he is now quite well. 或者:
After having been ill for years，he is now quite well. 或者:
Having been ill for years，he is now quite well.
