Used to被觉得是情态动词，表示过去的习惯或状况。只有过去形式。Used为英语的24个操作词之一。但现代英语常把它视为普通动词（即不按操作词对待）。比如：
He used to like playing football.
否定句：He usedn’t tolike playing football.
疑问句：Used he tolike playing football?
以上为used to用作操作词。
否定句：He didn’t useto like playing football.
疑问句：Did he use tolike playing football?
