LEAVE TIME BEHIND YOU
忘记时间
The old monk often took the young monk to the hill outside the temple to recite the lection .
One day the young monk said to the old monk, How slowly time goes!
The old monk said, You can have a try like this in the morning sit to the west to read; andin the afternoon sit to the east to read.
At the masters advice, the young monk recited the lection against the sun. By and by heneglected the passage of time.
The next day he told the old monk, Master, youre so masterly that I forget time with aswitch of direction and absorb myself in the lection.
The old monk said, Whatever you do, only when you leave time behind can you focus on itecstatically .
老和尚常常带小和尚到庙外的山里去诵经。
有一天，小和尚对老和尚说：时间过得可真慢啊！
老和尚说：你可以试一试这么做早上朝西面坐着念经；下午朝东面坐着念经。
听了师傅的话，小和尚背着阳光诵经。日渐地，他忽视了时间的流逝。
第二天，他告诉老和尚：师傅，你真高明，我只不过换了个朝哪个方向就忘却了时间，全身心沉浸在经文里了。
老和尚说：不论你干什么事，唯有忘却时间，方可全神贯注、陶醉其中。
