texted to them prior to the delivery是过去分词短语，作a unique code的非限制性定语，起到补充说明用途。texted to themprior to the delivery在现代语法中称为“非限定分句”，可以改写为非限制性定语从句：which is textedto them prior to the delivery。
them指代 the customer，英语中未指明性别的单数名词，可以用复数代词来指代，抛弃繁琐的he/she，也防止性别歧视。
also unclear is the number of deliveries Scout can complete是主语和表语倒装，防止头重脚轻，符合尾重原则，还原的话：Also the numberof deliveries Scout can complete before its battery needs to be recharged isunclear.
