The Sub-Forum^{1 of Electromechanical Products of High-Level Sino-Russian Economic Forum was held in Diaoyutai State Guests Hotel in Beijing in the afternoon on March 22, sponsored by the Ministry^{2 of Commerce of PRC and Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Russia and assisted by China Chamber^{3 of Commerce for import and Export of Machinery^{4 and Electronic Products . Aim of the Forum was to provide a platform for machinery manufacture of China and Russia to enhance communication and promote fine development of bilateral^{5 trade of electromechanical products. The Sub-forum mainly discussed issues of application of electromechanical products in both Chinese and Russian markets, relative industrial policies and investment environment, status and prospect^{6 of bilateral trade of such products. Vice^{7 Minister of Commerce of PRC Yu Guangzhou and Minister for Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation^{8 VG Savelyev attended the Forum and gave speeches.Representatives from China Faw Group Corporation, Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Russia, China General Technology Holding Co. Ltd., import and Export Bank of Russia, CCCME, Penza, TCL, Far-Eastern Shipping^{9 Company Ltd. and Agricultural Machinery Company of Russia etc. delivered speeches at the Forum. Yao Wenping, CCCME Vice Chairman, and Vice Director of Department of Foreign Trade and Customs Affairs Regulation of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Russia made speeches on status and development prospect of Sino-Russia electromechanical products trade and investment, and on supporting mechanism^{10 for export of electromechanical products of Russia.}}
Officials from the Ministry of Commerce of PRC and the Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Russia, and entrepreneurs from big production and trading enterprises of electromechanical products in China and Russia took part in the Forum, totaling 150 people}}}}}}}}
