否定在不定式前、后，有和不同

一个否定在不定式前，一个否定在不定式后，有和不同？

I didn’t tell him not to speak the truth.

一个否定在不定式前，一个否定在不定式后，是不同的：

假如要对不等式的意思加以否定的话，就得把not放在不定式的前面。

所以第一句中的not是不是定to speak the truth的，

相反，第二句中的note是与did合起来，否定该句中的动词tell的。

因此第一句的意思是：“我叫他不要讲真话。”

第二句的意思是：“我并没叫他讲真话。”

比如：

It will need much time, not to speak of the expense.

这需要不少时间，别说成本了。

He left home, never to return.

他离家后再也没回来过。

对分词的否定与对不定式的否定相同。
