定语从句关系词(which与where)

就是在我常常去看书的那个图书馆，碰巧遇见了我的初中同桌。（It）

It was in the library which I often go to read books that I met with mydeskmate of junior high school.（which的地方应该是where）

为何这个定语从句要用关系副词引导，为何前面已经有介词 in 了后面不需要which?

It wasin the library which I often go to read books that I met with mydeskmate of junior high school.（which的地方应该是where）

这是个强调句，还原成普通句子：

I met with my deskmate of junior high school in the library where I often go to read books.

in the library介词短语是met的地址状语。定语从句修饰library不可可以用前面的介词。况且假如用which也应该是to which, 由于修饰的是go.

因此，which 为错误，应改为where。
