三手烟是指在抽烟几小时或几天之后仍然残留在地毯、衣物与其他物品中的烟污染。据研究，很多人，特别是烟鬼，都不了解三手烟会风险大家的健康。在同意调查的1500名烟鬼和非烟鬼中，绝大多数人都认可二手烟的害处。但当他们被问到是不是知道“吸入前一天有人抽烟的屋子里的空气会风险你的健康”时,只有65%的非烟鬼和43%的烟鬼回答是一定的。

Third-hand smoke refers to the tobacco smokecontamination that lingers on carpets, clothes andother materials hours or days after smoking.According to a study, a large number of people,particularly smokers, have no idea that the third-hand smoke is a health hazard for people.
